COACH CURTIS TURLEY
Coach Curtis Turley played, coached, and is an ambassador of the game of basketball. Coach Turley graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1976 and has coached at 12 different Kentucky school systems. In addition, he was on the WKU women’s basketball staff from 2011-2013, serving as director of operations for the 2011-12 season and an assistant coach in 2012-13.
He was recently inducted into the 2019 Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame with a 624-321 career record as a coach, ranking 14th on the state's all-time wins list. Turley also led four different teams to the State Sweet 16. Coach Turley's passion for his players to succeed went beyond the court; he invested in each player to ensure they were the best they could be.
Coach Turley is starting a program called Team Focus for fatherless young men in Bowling Green and Western Kentucky.After 32 highly successful seasons of coaching boys basketball, he retired to spend time with his wife, Brenda. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
